Political Cartoon: Themes Of Personal Responsibility And Social Responsibility

Since Donald Trump’s election, many of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals participants (DACA), also known by “Dreamers” have had to deal with numerous issues. DACA allows immigrants who arrived in America at an early age to remain here. Trump has sought to remove the American citizens’ right to reside here. They face the possibility of being deported to their home country. This essay will cover a political comic to discuss the themes personal responsibility, social accountability, and comparative analyses.

The cartoon depicts Donald Trump and Jeff Sessions as being monsters. I personally know many people who view Donald Trump in a similar way. A family I knew came from another country, and they had children there. Trump wasn’t president at the time. But the parents were concerned about their children being covered by the DACA policy. The parents made this ethical decision as they considered the future consequences of Trump’s actions. This cartoon is intended to convey that dreamers fear Trump and are being returned to their home countries. Donald Trump and Jeff Sessions both seem to say there is nothing to fear. This is a problem for the public, and the way they see these politicians. They lie most of the day. This issue is critical and must be addressed by the national community.

Another cartoon depicts the themes of immigration and segregation. Two children stand at the door with their respective names. Both images convey a different message but they also show how our nation affects children’s futures. It is crucial to remember that the future of the world’s young generation will be determined by what they experience in their youth.

Dreamers fight for their rights, even though they are threatened with losing their place in America. Although they might fear Trump’s policies and laws, many communities take action to protect them. Dreamers are able to defend their positions and create better futures by making better decisions and understanding their responsibilities. Future generations will be able to benefit from the wisdom and experience of strong people like them. This essay covered a political cartoon, which included the themes personal responsibility, social accountability, and comparative analyses.
